Protection first

Insulated walls and roof, sealed doors and windows, waterproofing, drainage, and a dry raised floor.

Water & sanitation

Clean water, private toilet and shower, wastewater handling and solid-waste collection are treated as core infrastructure.

Built to repeat

A standardized module can simplify procurement, reduce waste, speed construction and make every completed home easier to cost transparently.

The home

Simple enough to build. Strong enough to feel like home.

The prototype avoids decorative spending. The budget goes toward what a family actually needs: protection from rain, dust, cold and heat; a private place to sleep; a basic kitchen; clean water; and sanitation.

Pilot

10 families first.

HEARTBEAT's first objective is not to promise a city. It is to turn the concept into a professionally validated pilot, build ten homes, measure real costs and construction time, publish the results and then prepare to scale.

Scale

Then 100.

The larger concept combines family homes with water treatment and storage, sanitation, waste management, access routes, basic energy, community space and a permanent mosque — with room to improve and expand over time.

Optimism by design

We want to show arrival, not misery.

HEARTBEAT will not build its identity around images of frightened children or suffering. The visual language is about a key, an open door, clean water from a tap, sunlight through a window, a family preparing its first meal, neighbours meeting, children choosing their beds, and people celebrating together in a place they can finally call home.

AI-assisted prototyping

Technology is the tool. The purpose is human.

AI is being used to explore concepts, compare layouts, reduce waste, structure budgets and help develop the project faster. Final structural, civil, WASH, electrical and construction documents must be reviewed and validated by qualified professionals before anything is built.

Potential partners

Help turn the prototype into a pilot.

HEARTBEAT is seeking conversations with humanitarian specialists, engineers, local contractors, material suppliers, water and sanitation experts, technology companies, philanthropic funders and implementation partners.
